From the age of three Danira got introduced to different artistic disciplines & sports - athletics, swimming, roller skating, painting, hiking, jazz. At the age of thirteen she started practicing martial arts and muay tahi boxing for five years. In 2007 she joined belly dance classes and took part in different events and circus performances. Eager to explore her talent to create, she soon stept into the world of circus, learning primarily through self-taught videos how to work with the aerial ring, fabrics etcetera. In 2009 Danira started taking piano lessons (until present). She learned fire manipulation coupled to exercise classes, taught at the time by her current partner with whom she started a circus company in Puerto Vallarta in 2010. In 2011 she also took ballet classes daily throughout the month December.
Her first experience with the Laboratory of Arts and Circus came in 2009, enriching her knowledge and skill in trapeze during the workshops. She went back to the Laboratory of Arts and Circus in 2011 to get more acquainted with the circus discipline of Chinese Pole and performed as a guest artist in both the Maraton Escenico and the Gala Evenings.
Danira has worked with the Garra Company and in Puerto Vallarta, performing at various hotels and events, the most recent and beautiful being the Pan American Games torch relay in Mexico and the co-operation with Arcano (violinist and pianist). She is currently taking part in a dance show in Europe until the end of March 2012.
