The circus career of Jorge Albuerne began with Olaff Kehler (SNDO, Contact) at Muelle 3. In Barcelona he continued his training with Lipi Hernádez, Alexis Eupierre, Andrew Corcoran, Hisako Horikawa, Lisa Nelson, Angels Margarit, Mal Pelo, Ornella D'Agostino, Toni Cots, María Muñoz, David Zambrano, Bo Madvig and Roberto Olivares.
He has created several pieces of dance and theatre with Maria Montseny (Yakusi, Sapore, Pas du tout, among others), and Cia Traspié. Together with Rosa Muñoz he worked on the play Romance #4 as a dancer performer and is currently rehearsing for the presentation of Romance #5.
He most recently participated in the Laboratory of Arts and Circus as a teacher of Chinese pole techniques in 2011. He is founder of Zirkus Frak!, a street theatre company in Bilbao, Spain.
